Power Statements and Action Words
When creating your résumé, don9t just list what you did 4 write
statements that highlight your achievements, illustrate your tasks,
quantify your results and show your impact.
A power statement has two parts: action and results. The action component uses an
active verb, plus a concise description of a task. The result component shows what
you achieved, such as quantioed results or other concrete evidence.
